I'm so happy to have such a great Vietnamese restaurant right down the street! I had always wanted to try the location in Ft. Laid and was ecstatic to hear they were coming to Boca. I've been here countless times since, and never once a negative experience. I always start with the Vietnamese crepe appetizer and of course those addicting shrimp chips. It's a HUGE omelette/crepe type outer layer - stuffed with crisp bean sprouts, delicious pork pieces, onions, and baby shrimp. Always great and better each time I'm there. I definitely go there for the pho! Beef is always my protein of choice - either rare or grilled (both are awesome). Basilic serves their pho with a heaping pile of Thai basil, bean sprouts, jalapeño, lime, and sauce dishes filled with hoisin and Sriracha. Ahhh it's so good and always hits the spot.. And I always have enough for lunch the next day. I love Basilic and the service is always friendly and attentive (my water glass is never empty). Definitely don't miss this spot!

Finally tried the Basilic on Federal in Boca. It's located in the old Lodge Bar and Grill spot. They did a nice job on the transformation. It maintains a certain homeyness while giving if a Cali Asian vibe. It's not a big place, but there were a few tables and several booths with ample space in between. They also offer al fresco dining in the courtyard. The three of us started with the Sweet Crispy Mussels, Vietnamese Crepe, and Grilled beef roll. The beef roll was very decent, but the mussels and crepe were definite do-overs! The mussels were crunchy and slightly sweet, served with a mildly spicy dipping sauce. The crepe was filled with bean sprouts, shrimp and pork/beef and served with mint leaves and I think a kind of beef broth to pour on it. For our entrees, we chose Curry Seafood Noodle Soup, Sate Noodle Soup and the Combination Noodle Bowl. Big bowls of big taste. Three solid choices washed down with La Crema Pinot Noir. Oh, did I forget to mention the have a pretty nice wine list? Funky Buddha on tap of course. We are so going back to this place! Service was good without being intrusive. What else could you ask for? Basilic Vietnamese Grill was a great choice (patting self on back)!

For an authentic Vietnamese meal that won't break the bank Basilic should be #1 on your list. Friendly staff and a perfectly sized menu help this small yet modern restaurant excel at everything the do. Making chili sauces from scratch that allows you to adjust your own heat along with Vietnamese beers adds to what's special about this place. Highly recommended for lunch when you are in the mood for something different. I promise you will be craving it in the future.

Waking up in Boca Raton and craving Ph sounds like a recipe for disaster... Until I found Basilic Vietnamese Grill! There is apparently another highly regarded location Fort Lauderdale, and upon that recommendation, I set out with two friends! The Ph GÃ was terrific! I am not a Ph expert, but I had some great Ph in Chicago, and this stood up against that example exceptionally well! My friends both had the Wok Tossed Noodles, one with beef and the other with tofu. Both were terrific, and could possibly have been two meals worth! They both got theirs with rice noodles, and the tofu eater was happy to know that the entire dish was vegetarian when made with tofu! The shrimp crisps that were served with the meals were crispy, light and delightful! I can't wait to go back!

Get the same thing every time b/c it's too good: Crispy mussels, oxtail pho, papaya salad, bahn mi, and sometimes a bubble tea. 15 % off with yelp check-in.

Chicken noodle curry so flavorful and creamy and delicious. Hot and spicy. Served with bamboo shoots basil jalapeños and chili paste Summer rolls pork and shrimp with peanut dipping sauce. Huge portion crunchy with basil and vermicelli. Cold and fresh. Just scrumptious My first time here. I'm a huge fan of Vietnamese food and Pha. I will definitely be back with friends Fast and friendly service. I used a 15% off coupon on my check. Reasonably priced. Huge portions. I took most of my dinner home. Can't wait to eat left overs

I have passed Basilic a few times driving up and down Federal, but was a bit too skeptical to stop and try. My roommate had come home one night after trying Basilic and only had good things to say about it. I had to try it! I visited Basilic this past Sunday for lunch. One of the best lunches I've had in Boca in a while at a reasonable price! My friends and I were greeted and sat immediately. Keep in mind that it wasn't incredibly busy at this time, but I've been to plenty places where it wasn't too busy and it took forever to be acknowledged. You could say Basilic had me at hello. My friends and I decided to sit at the bar, which had two flat screens, was very clean, and had a subtle modern flare. Our servers were welcoming and nice. They brought out to the bar a basket of these rice and shrimp puff crisps. Honestly, you couldn't even tell that there was shrimp in them! There was also a carrier with 3 different types of sauces/chutneys on the bar. I wasn't positive if you are supposed to use these on the crisps, but I did, and it tasted amazing! Our food came out lightening quick! Between my friends and I we ordered the Chicken Pho, Barbecue Pork Fried Rice, and Pork Banh Mi. I had the Pork Banh Mi. The pork was so tender and seasoned perfectly in some sort of soy sauce based marinade. I personally enjoyed the fact that they placed the jalapeños on the side, so I could add them to my sandwich as needed. The vegetables were pickled nicely and the bread was toasted perfect. I could only finish half my sandwich, so I took the other half home (it tasted just as good the next day). I tasted the pork fried rice and was quite pleased! Once again, the pork was very tender and seasoned well. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try my friend's chicken Pho. It was gone before I could even ask! My friend said it was "on point!" I will definitely have to order it next time! Overall I had a great dining experience at Basilic! The food, atmosphere, and service were spot on. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the East Boca/Mizner area.

Thought it looked dingy from the outside, but it's beautiful, modern, and sunny inside. Food was excellent--I got lemongrass noodles with tofu, friends got beef and combination pho. Shrimp chips come free. Servings expensive but big. Kind, unobstructed service. 15% off with checkin. Would definitely come back!

I'm new to pho. I'll admit it. I don't know fuh about pho. Bro it is mad good. I really dig their interior design elements, and the service is top notch. Great lunch spot. I always say I'm going to try their banh mi but then I go straight back to the well and get me some pho. Discount for Yelpers that check-in.
(5)Lee Z.
This should be 3 1/2 stars. We had the combination pho with beef tendon and tripe added, which are normally included at most pho places. But due to the clients this place cater to, I understand. The broth was tasty, one of the beef was a little tough. The vermicelli combination bowl wasn't bad. The grill chicken wasn't marinated well , but the shrimp and spring roll were good. Customer service was very good all around. The wait persons were courteous and the bus person was very nice. Although this restaurant is geared more towards non-asians, it's pretty good keeping that in mind because much of the Vietnamese flavors are still present.

Very delicious! Not disappointed at all. Groupon introduced me to this place and I will definitely be back again. Wonderful service and food was out quickly after ordering :) get the avocado bubble drink, chicken pho and vermicelli with the fried rolls... They were all so yummy
(5)Gonk G.
Basilic has the best Vietnamese food in South Florida, with their Pho being absolutely delicious. I come here as one of my comfort food places bc their food is 100% consistent and the service is the best...UT, Max, Sam, and Lesley always make me feel welcomed and appreciated. :-)
(5)Ashley R.
Tried this place for lunch today, so amazingly good! Food is fresh and service was quick! Beautiful decor and very clean restaurant. We had the shrimp and pork spring rolls with peanut sauce as an app. The peanut sauce was so delicious, I would probably eat anything with it. I had the chicken noodle curry soup and my friend had beef pho. Both were very good, plus a huge portion so I can eat it again later. Can't wait to go back and try everything else!
(5)Minh N.
Disclaimer: this review is from when I dined there a few months ago, things may be different now. I had the Combination Pho and Crepe (banh xeo) with a friend. The pho was decent, but the crepe was disappointing. The crepe batter didn't have the full flavor, so you had to drown it in dipping sauce, however the serving of dipping sauce was very scrimpy--as was the lettuce and herbs. I would have asked for more of each but our young waitress was difficult to reach. Not the best service in the area. Price than most other Vietnamese restaurants in Broward, but this is in Boca, specifically Mizner, with a nicer interior and ambiance, so I understand. I'm willing to give this place another try!
(3)Stacey M.
Delicious! Fresh and spicy and delicious. We ordered the spring rolls, mien xao rice noodles ( like pad Woo Sen) and the hot and sour soup. Amazing! I'll be back soon!!!
(5)Angie R.
I was so pleasantly surprised considering I don't think that I have ever had Vietnamese before. The shrimp chips they served complimentary looked very plaid but we're surprisingly good. We split the Beef Pho (this was recommended to me for a "big inner". Apparently it's very traditional) and the chicken wok tossed noodles. The staff (I think Deryck was my servers name) was very friendly and the place itself was small but had a lot of charm. Maybe I would give it 5 stars if I had something to compare it to. For now, it gets 4 well deserved stars and I now know I like Vietnamese, win win!
(4)Alan R.
Very clean with good service and good food Excellent value. Has become a weekly choice for us

Noms! If you love pho ga, the way I do, you will probably love this place. Its not so authentic that you will be surrounded by viets sipping and slurping away, its more of a Boca version if you know what I mean. The interior is so pretty, simple, very zen-like with natural colors and a great deal of light. From the outside you would never know that the inside was so nice, large or even that they have a cute outdoor space in the back. It starts out with very polite waitstaff bringing a basket of prawn crackers to the table, there are some pots of spicy sauces on the table which we always play with mixing and pasting onto the crackers. The pho runs about $10, but its a large bowl with either chicken, beef or pork. If you want the rare beef you would have to special request it. It comes with all the toppings at the side, bean sprouts, basil, jalapenos, sriacha etc. I like to throw in all in - so yums! The broth is delicious, homemade and a perfect base. I always get chicken, and there is plenty of it, nice thick cut white meat chicken. The noodles are slurp-tastic also. Theres so much that I usually end up asking to take the rest home, which they kindly take away and package up for me. My only bummer is I like to have green tea, and I think $2.75 for one cup of hot water and a lipton tea bag is a bit much. As a tea connoisseur I would like a decent brand and preferably a tea pot for that price. They also make a variety of bubble tea and bubble tea smoothies, again pricey but you just gotta have those tapioca pearls!
(5)Adam M.
The shrimp crisps that were at the table were so good, just kept eating them until they were gone. Both of us ordered wonton soup, which was some of the best wonton soup I've ever had. Then, we asked our server for some suggestions. He mentioned some type of marinated steak, with vegetables, and rice. Whatever the steak was marinated in was amazing (was really good the next day for lunch too). A glass of bubble tea for dessert was a great finish touch. Little spot that you won't see unless you are looking for it. Cool vibe, and awesome fish tank to look at when you first arrive.
(5)Emily T.
Really enjoyed my traditional bowl of Pho. I had a Groupon so I decided to try it out on a Saturday. The restaurant had an impressive décor and fish tank. I'm very pleased with the pho broth! Also try the sauteed mussels appetizers. That's a hit!
(5)Michael W.
Vietnamese cuisine has made its way to Boca Raton in a very modern cool place on federal highway. There's a fish tank up front by the entrance to your right as you look ahead and see a bar. Basilic does not have that usual traditional Vietnamese setting which is a breath of fresh air. Their chopsticks are metal and they serve your check in a bamboo cup. Very cool! As you sit down you are immediately brought out a caddy of spices and sauces accompanied by shrimp flavored rice chips. I ordered the combination vermicelli noodle bowl which had grilled shrimp, pork, and a fried spring roll. The pork was very tasty, just wish I had more of it! The shrimps were grilled nicely and the spring roll adds a nice crunchy texture to the soft noodles. The fish sauce was a little weaker than I'm used to. Maybe I'll get extra fish sauce next time! It's definitely nice to have a good Vietnamese place to go to in Boca!

Ever since my discovery of "Little Vietnam" in Orlando, I've been on the search for something local serving authentic Vietnamese food. I've found noodle shops that serve "Pho" but they also serve other asian dishes that are unrelated to vietnamese food (such as KaPow, which is great but not what I'm looking for). A little noodle bar in Boca Raton called KIN showed up on my radar but the menu didn't excite me all that much, not to mention the place was always empty. It wasn't surprising that KIN went out of business and the new owners opened BASILIC VIETNAMESE GRILL. I took a glimpse at a few pictures on yelp and I considered it worthy of bookmarking the place. Yesterday was my birthday and I wanted to skip going to our typical places and try something new; BASILIC VIETNAMESE GRILL was my second choice (the first restaurant flopped but that's another story for another time). ARRIVAL Parking can be a bit trying at times in the area so we parked in the Royal Palm Plaza (also known as the "Pink Plaza") and decided to take a short walk. As we reached the restaurant, I noticed thru the window how very white, very modern and very clean interior the place is. I know for most people this is a good thing but I was hoping for "authentic" vietnamese food. In my distorted mind, that means a bit run down and not so modern. Even though the decor doesn't match what I envisioned, I thought screw it and decided to take a table. Quite honestly, the place is lovely and very clean... I even found it odd that there was no noticeable smell. Maybe I'm nuts but I can't remember any vietnamese restaurant not having "THAT" special smell in the air (just an observation; no reflection on the food by any means). TAKE A SEAT We take a table directly in front of a well-lit salt water fish tank and begin perusing the menu. As expected much of the menu sounded foreign to me, which happens to excite me. So maybe the atmosphere contradicts what I was hoping for but on the other hand, the menu is exciting and includes very descriptive details. LET'S EAT SOME APPS We decided to begin with traditional GIO CUON spring rolls (shrimp, pork and lettuce wrapped in rice paper with peanut dipping sauce). The lettuce was crisp and the pork and shrimp were fresh... loving this simple dish. We also shared a TOM VA MUC RANG MUOI dish (crispy calamari and shrimp mixed with green and red peppers, onions, ginger slices and a red sauce on the side for dipping). The calamari and shrimp had very little batter (barely any... in a good way) and the taste without the sauce was fabulous (slightly salty with a hint of heat). Be warned the red sauce which I never identified was hot... very hot. As a mater of fact, there were two sauces on the table that made me rethink how much heat I could really handle.... great dish READY FOR MAINS The vermicelli noodle dishes caught our attention, so rather than decide on which one (chicken, pork, beef, shrimp or imperial roll) we decided to get a BUN TOM THIT NUONG combination noodle bowl (light, almost flavorless vermicelli noodles mixed with carrot, ginger, onion, cilantro, shrimp, grilled pork and a couple imperial rolls, which are similar to chinese egg rolls). The dish came with a very sweet sauce (perhaps vinegar based) that we poured over the dish and tossed together. The dish was fabulous but not loaded with flavors but it was balanced perfectly. We also shared a GA XAO SA OT lemongrass chicken dish (chicken marinated with lemongrass and chilies and cooked with onions, red peppers and green peppers served with white rice and a sweet carrot slaw)... simply delicious. WRAP IT UP For the record, the amount of food we ordered is way too much for 2 people but we were hungry, so our big eyes misled us to order too much. As we were given the bill I was talking about the lack of places that serve bubble tea and guess what... they serve bubble tea. I didn't get it this time since it I had my eyes on a brownie around the corner at Sequellas Cafe (it was my birthday after all). Surprisingly enough I can't wait to return... maybe tonight again because I'd love to try their BANH MI sandwiches or BANH XEO (vietnamese crepes filled with pork loin, shrimp, sprouts and lettuce) Even though it wasn't a "hole-in-the-wall" kinda place that I was seeking, it certainly did not disappoint.... it's not completely authentic either but it certainly fulfilled my craving

Basilic is fairly good. I love Vietnamese food so I'm hard to impress. Especially when you compare it to Noodle House, my favorite restaurant. The pho at Basilic is good but not good enough. The rest of the menu also is good. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. Everyone who works there is very nice and attentive. I've never had their banh mi sandwiches because every time I've been there they are out of it unfortunately due to the fact that I love banh mi. Basilic is good and deserves to be updated. I'll try it again soon and have their pho in hopes that they are making it better.
(4)Katelyn T.
Definitely had high hopes for this restaurant because of all the great reviews they had but wouldn't mind coming back. Off the top of my head, I can't seem to remember what we got besides what they had in it. But, what I do remember is that there wasn't much flavor in most of the dishes we got. The service wasn't great, we didn't see our server for most of the time there and had asked the girl who brought us water for a few things. If I could have just tipped the girl that helped us out and not so much the server, I would have.
(3)Gabriella M.
PHOEVER!!! If you love Pho then you NEED to come here and get it. I get Pho Ga every time and it is always the exact same deliciousness that I had before. The lemongrass chili sauce stuff they have on the table is AMAZING and the chicken imperial rolls are like little fried heaven logs of goodness. GO HERE NOW.. Seriously, go get you some Pho.

I was eagerly awaiting their opening and was really impressed as soon as I walked in. AMBIENCE: the interior was totally redone. New tables, chairs, flooring, walls. Artwork. Muted colors. Subtle lighting. Music with a vibe. Inviting bar with 2 TV screens. Huge fish tank at entrance. It is stylish without being overdone. SERVICE: professional. Attentive. Everyone worked in sync with each other. Humorous exchange between LUAN and me. Efficient kitchen on a busy night, just a few days after opening. Impressive operation. MANAGEMENT PRESENCE: I met Vince, the owner. He was in control, monitoring his guest's meals, lighting, volume of music, AC temp. Hope he continues to be present, as they have another location in Ft Lauderdale, not sure if Vince will always be in Boca. FOOD: it was real good. The (gratis) shrimp crisps are addictive. The appetizer ROCKET SHRIMPS were a nice surprise. Lightly battered. Tender shrimp. Big piece of scallion. Will def reorder! The SALMON ROLLS were light, chopped veggies wrapped in a roll, with a decent sized piece of salmon on top (but within the wrap). CHICKEN WITH VEGGIES AND NOODLES. Huge serving for $15. I switched out the veggies from what was on the menu, it did not pose a problem. The sauce was not overwhelming. GRILLED SALMON over veggies was quite good, and my request for the sauce on the side resulted in the veggies being on the side also. The salmon could have been a bit larger cut, or am I expecting too much for $19? A welcome addition to East Boca. Parking can be found on the street or in public garage (it's in an apartment building but open to public and free) one block behind (east) of the restaurant. I'll revise review after a few dines. I'll surely be back.

Conveniently located on the side of the street, this chic and modern Vietnamese restaurant is quite lovely. The decor is beautiful and the inside is very clean. Usually I would say the hole in the wall Asian places are the best but this Vietnamese restaurant is very good and authentic. We ordered the fried spring rolls with shrimp and pork filling. It came on a lettuce piece with 3 rolls. Normally I would prefer a lettuce piece to each roll but the rolls were good. I had the meatball pho. Compared to normal pho restaurants the size would be a small and it was $10.50 which is the price of a large bowl in some of the pho restaurants I frequent. I added tripe and tendon for a dollar extra. The taste of the broth is always most important to me and this one was flavorful but it didn't have the homemade taste I'm use to. The service was good, servers came to check many times and refilled water.
(4)Lailah A.
I'm kind of a pho-natic. I eat pho everywhere I go and my fiancé and I even make it ourselves at home! Basilic has the same delicious flavor that you would expect to find in one of those legit hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurants but it's actually a really nice restaurant with wonderful ambience and super nice staff!
(5)Joyce H.
I haven't had Vietnamese food in a while, and was delighted to find this place with a bunch of friends. Having lived in LA, I was used to great Vietnamese food at low prices. The food here is decent, but pricier than what you'd find in a more diverse town. I had the combination pho and spring rolls. The spring rolls were pretty good, but they lacked the piece of green onion that I'm used to them having. The pho was ok, though the meatballs were not on point the way I expected (they were soft, and lacked that nice crisp texture). Overall, this is still a decent place to satisfy a craving. They have an assortment of bubble teas, as well as great iced coffee.

Hmmmm....so Boca Raton's "authentic" phó has disappointed me. The 4.5 star rating is VERY misleading. From Cali where I'm from, we have so many choices for delicious Vietnamese phó. I've tried many different places and have a good idea of discerning authentic to not to par.. Basilic's phó is definitely NOT up to par. Overcooked meat, the tendon (which is my fave part) was tough and too chewy :(. My son ordered the kids' grilled chicken and rice. I had a bite and it was super bland. Ehh. The fried spring rolls had good flavor but it was served with one leaf of thin, soggy lettuce per order. Although the ambiance was quite nice and serene, the food was sadly unimpressive. The unhappy servers also didn't add to the depressing meal. 4.5 stars Boca yelpers? Seriously??? Tsktsk.
(3)Rachelle L.
Love this place! Just as good as one in Fort Lauderdale if not better due to cleanliness and service. They have a beautiful aquarium as well, which is Prob one of the cleanest I've seen. Pho is always phenomenal and so are the little bánh phng nm chips. Yeah I bet you were wondering what they were called. ;) Thanks again Google for making me seem smarter than I am. Highly recommend.

Disclaimer: I have to admit I have gotten pretty spoiled from fresh pho from Vietnam and legit pho from the Bay Area. Having said that, I can't say that the pho here is PHOnomenal, but relative to the other places I've tried in the Palm Beach County area, it is pretty good and they even brought out chili sauce with the beef pho. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of sriracha (I could put sriracha on anything and everything) and hoison bottles. Instead you get a small amount of each placed in a soy sauce sized dish. They did offer soy sauce among the condiments, however, which was a first for a Vietnamese restaurant and a bit puzzling, but to each their own. The pho itself was decent, with the broth being complex enough and a nice balance of sour, salty, and sweet. The noodles were decent and the beef was a bit chewy. I like it when the beef comes out still slightly raw and cooks with the broth as it's brought to your table, but this was not the case for Basilic. The service was pretty attentive though and there was free Wi-Fi. You can also find parking in a lot about a block away. Whether you're recovering from a hangover, sickness, or just craving some pho, you could do a lot worse than Basilic.
(3)George K.
Quick, friendly and attentive service plus some amazing pho! Aesthically, it's a nice restaurant with very reasonable prices. 5 stars, simple as that. Their spring rolls are really good too! I havent tried too many other dishes, i just constantly get the pho soups.
(5)Chris C.
This is the second location for this business. This location is hip, and stylish. The menu is very impressive with a lot of choices depending on what you're in the mood for. Many appetizers, and entrees to choose from. I order the beef PHO. The portion was large and only $10.50. The broth was very rich and flavorful. The beef was sliced thinly and there was plenty of it. The rice noodles were cooked perfectly and had a nice chew to them. Highly recommended!
(5)Andy M.
By far the nicest "Pho Place" I have ever been too. Server was prompt and attentive. The meal started out with a Lucky Buddha and Butter Crisps?? I assume. We ordered the Traditional Pork Rolls for an appetizer. Great with spicy dipping sauces. Pho came soon after. Beautiful presentation with hearty servings of noodles and beef. Excellent meal. Ask for the old school wooden chop sticks. The fancy metal ones are to slippery for a heft noodle portion.
(5)Danielle R.
PHO SHO! I have eaten at this one and the one off of Commercial Blvd and their Pho is legit. This location has a little bit of an edge b/c they have a little outside patio in the back strung with cutesy little lights. If it was closer to my work or on my way home, I would go once a week. Great value for your money!
(5)Julie D.
New favorite restaurant! So good, we ate here twice in 3 days... papaya salad with shrimp is surprisingly flavorful, and curry soup is OUTSTANDING - I had it with fried tofu. Very reasonable prices, large portions and warm ambience. Pho is phenom too, but I'm partial to the curry!
(5)Christina P.
Not impressed. My fiancé and I were really excited to try this place. With all the good Yelp reviews, we were hoping to find a new Pho place to become regulars. Upon arrival, nobody greeted us at the door and I'm still unsure if this is just a sit wherever kind of place because when someone finally said go sit in the back room, the two of us went towards a booth and the man sharply and rudely told us no. He directed us to a small table that barely had enough room for our waters and the caddy on the table. We looked around, and were unsure why he sat us there when there were others with a party of 2, sitting in a booth. Ok, not so great start, but we stayed optimistic. We ordered spring rolls, a combination pho and a beef pho. The spring rolls were really good and honestly I think the best part of my dinner. The beef in my pho was not quality and was extremely fatty - I had to double check for a second that it wasn't tripe because that's what it looked like. My fiancé said his broth was very bland and I had to dump a lot of chili sauce and soy sauce in mind to make it tolerable. The broth in my opinion was a little too sweet for my liking. Additionally, as far as the basil/mint/sprouts you get to add into your bowl - this is the first place I've ever been to in my life that gives you only a side portion of it (literally- on the side of the small plate that carries your large pho bowl) vs. a large plate of the everything like 99% of places I've ever been to. Neither of us were thrilled with dinner. Another couple ended up sitting in another booth and the one we're going to sit in - was vacant all night. Additionally, when a large table behind us left- I overheard the staff who were cleaning the table mocking the people who just left. In my opinion - your patrons are the ones essentially paying your paycheck - if you're going to depreciate and mock them - at least do it behind closed doors where other guests can't hear you. When we left, no thank you, no have a good night. We past 3 servers/bussers and no good bye. My fiancé had a valid point. He said this restaurant feels like they've adapted too much to their surroundings. This is the most Americanized Vietnamese food I think I've ever had, which is sad - because real Vietnamese food is delicious and one of my favorite cuisines. The 4.5 star rating is making me completely questioning the reliability of yelp in general - I think anyone who rated the pho from here with high markings needs to go try real pho. Needless to say, will not be returning.

Best pho in town!!! At a great price! I get the grilled chicken pho and I never regret it! It's pure heaven in your mouth! This restaurant is beautifully decorated, and with windows all around, it lends to a serene and bright dining experience. The wait staff is among the friendliest in town! My mom and I often eat lunch here so the staff knows us well and knows what we like! Impeccable timing on bringing out the food and always a kind smile! The imperial rolls are to die for! Absolutely divine when dipped in the special sauce! Everything is always hot and prepared fresh! In the colder months, we enjoy the intimate seating out back! If you've never tried their pho, you're not really living! It's anti-inflammatory healing properties give you this amazing "pho buzz". The only drawback is that there aren't any hammocks outside to nap on after! Ha that would be great! But seriously, the atmosphere is on point. The music is a delightful ambient playlist that I just love! I'm ranting but I seriously love this place! Favorite restaurant ever! And very clean! 10 stars!

Quite a few weeks ago I drove by and saw that Basilic was coming to Boca, and got excited because our Vietnamese options around here are slim-to-none. A couple weeks after that I saw on Facebook that they had opened, so I went on opening day. In all - I am VERY impressed with what they have done with the place! I used to frequent the restaurant that was in this space before, and the decor was OK, but now it is amazing. You can definitely tell that Basilic has made an investment in the decor. On the first time I came here, I had the steak pho -- good size bowl, and great-tasting! I like how they bring out the bean sprouts, jalapeño, etc. in a little plate with your bowl. (This is in contrast to a huge communal plate most places bring. I don't mind that either, but I thought it was unique.) On my second visit here, I had the spicy lemongrass beef noodles. It was tasty, and I had lots of leftovers. In the future, I'd probably stick with pho, or branch out and try the banh mi. Service was very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming back here. I hope Basilic is successful and sticks around for a long time!

Excellent service and great food. Even my friends who aren't adventurous with Asian food love this restaurant.
(5)Lindsey G.
Absolutely obsessed with the Pho Soup. Authentic and delicious. The cure to any cold, sickness or hangover.
(5)Hugo B.
AWFUL service!! Slow (took 15 minutes to get anyone to come take our drink order, and that's after we stopped a passing waiter dead in his tracks). Entire staff is rude and miserable. Each entree for our party of 4, came out individually with 5 minute delay between each entree. When we pointed it out to the manager/owner (after having the 3 but not the 4th), he just said that this never happens and ran to the kitchen. He came out a few minutes later with the dish and said I'm sorry, the chef made a mistake. That's all he offered and no concession off the bill or other way to make it right. The food was okay but it could have been your average, overabundant Thai place. Nothing unique or special about this supposed Vietnamese restaurant. To add insult to injury, the waiter admitted that there's MSG in the sauces, when we asked. The decor is modern and fresh but unfortunately the TERRIBLE service completely ruins the experience. Scratching Basilic off the list for good.

Family was on vacation in Florida and came across this restaurant. Since I'm from Little Saigon, family and I wanted some home cooking away from home. The decor and ambiance of the place was very nice. It even has a neat little bar to hang out. I didn't expect the Vietnamese food in Florida to be good, but it was GREAT!!! It's even better than many of the Vietnamese restaurants you find in Little Saigon. Too bad I live in California to frequent the place.
(5)Beth B.
Really great Vietnamese food. Small and lively atmosphere. Really great pho. My husband had lemongrass duck last night and it was so great that we came back again tonight. All I can say is that there's a table of 10 behind me with all the owners and staff from Boca Nails. If the people from Vietnam come here... Didn't give a fifth star cause I don't want it to get so crowded that we can't come back. So come try but not when I'm here.
(4)Dana M.
I absolutely love this place! The beef pho is amazing and super filling! The shaking beef is another favorite of mine. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a fun and exciting meal. The staff are extremely warm and friendly as well. Don't forget to check in on yelp when you come here!
(5)Bree L.
Great place! I was surprised and happy for Boca that they had a good Vietnamese place. Both the beef and chicken pho were very good. Flavorful but not fake or unbalanced. Spring rolls also tasted good. The place is pretty and small but not unbearably so. A small outdoor patio is in back. We will be back soon!
(4)Cami S.
I ordered Pho and bubble tea. 1. Service Service was very slow. I ordered pho which should not take long to prepare. Also took a long time to get my bills and of course to finish paying. 2. Food Pho was OK. Not bad but not that great either. Avocado bubble tea was the worst bubble tea I tasted. It was just sweet and didn't taste like avocado. Tapioca was very hard. It came with whipped cream and cherry on top.... Authentic bubble tea would not have them....
(2)Aaron B.
Serious food. This place really stood out to me. I loved the fast service. The flavors of our dishes were beautiful and couldn't get any better. I hope to work my way through their menu!
(5)Pablo N.
Food was good. Service was RIDICULOUSLY TERRIBLE. I've never walked into a place and had to wait 20 mins to order a drink. There are maybe 16 people including myself in here. And it still took that long. We ordered. Somehow people that got here, and ordered after us got their food first. But that's whatever. If I had just ordered to pick up my food and eat it at home - it would have been great.
(3)Krisztian Z.
Look nice inside. Food and service is great. Even the parking was relatively easy. The banana ice cream is a score!!!
(5)Bari S.
Duck Egg Noodle with Bok Choy was very tasty!!! Fresh salmon Roll & Spring Roll's also delicious. My parents both had the banh xeo(Vietnamese pancakes), which my father enjoyed and my mother thought was so-so. I ended the meal with a Mango Bubble tea which was a new and delicious experience!!
(4)Niki M.
The pho is great! It's not a typical pho restaurant where it's a hole in the wall but with the incredible spicy soup that soothes you - it's an upscale version of it though. They begin each meal with a basket of prawn crackers that melt in your mouth and a variety of sauces. The pho is a great base - noodles are fabulous and cooked perfectly and sides are plentiful. You can add chicken, beef or pork to it and top it with all the bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, lime, jalapeno or sriacha that you'd like to make it yours! Not your typical Vietnamese pho place...
(4)Bonnie M.
Decided to come here after reading the reviews and I'd say is overrated! Spring rolls is acceptable. Bland and loose wrapper. Pho is a-OK. Under seasoned broth with oddly taste meatballs. Unlike other Vietnamese restaurant, there's no sriracha bottle on the table and after I requested, she only brought a tiny-bitty of it. So... Not sure if there's any next time.
(2)Mia Z.
I went to Basilic for my last dinner in Boca, and it definitely helped the trip end on a strong note. The ambiance was nothing too special, but nice. The service was excellent, and the waitress was super sweet and accommodating. As an appetizer, we ordered the papaya salad which was full of flavor and utterly delicious. Another good thing about it was its size, as it was perfect to share amongst the three of us. For main courses, we ordered the chicken pho and the curry chicken noodle soup. The pho was good, but nothing better than any other pho I've had in the past. The curry on the other hand was absolutely phenomenal. Overall, a great restaurant. I would strongly recommend coming here if you are a fan of Vietnamese cuisine.
(4)Roy P.
Best authentic food. Everything on menu is great. Nice atmosphere in this restaurant.
(5)Dawn B.
Love this one! Second location and the decor is amazing. A great place to meet friends for a healthy Vietnamese bowl of Pho. Fresh spring rolls are amazing. Everything is fresh and the food is authentic!
(5)Alexander G.
Wowowowowow! I had the best experience dining here. Came in to try their Pho, it was amazing. Add a bit of the spicy sauce to add to the flavor. Also had the stir fry with chicken & beef - also great. The sauce was delicious! Service was great - 100% coming back for more soon.
(5)Julio L.
Place is VERY nice and clean. Service is very good. The chips they give while waiting for your food i think they said are shrimp? Idk but they are good. I had the Chicken Pho with tendons and tripe. Big plate. I did not need to order anything else besides it.
(5)Lizzy H.
So happy to see Basilic opening up their second location! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing and super trendy. The food is made to order and it's worth the wait!! The pho noodle soup is the most authentic items on the menu, there's many variations.. I highly recommend the combination pho. The broth is clear (great sign of a good bowl of pho) and very wonderful aroma of beef, cinnamon, cloves and star anise. The noodles and beef are cooked just right... Nice and tender. This bowl of soup is a good size so you can skip appetizer. The papaya salad, banh mi, lemongrass chicken entrees are so delicious!
(5)Vy T.
Excellent pho and great interior surroundings. Would totally recommend! I am an independent Vietnamese woman living in America and was expecting very low expectations of this place because it does not seem authentic. But the food was excellent, tastes just like home, with great flavors and the broth was delicious. Would definitely come back. I recommend to everybody to try Vietnamese food. It is heavenly. Even my Brazilian friend enjoyed it. All college students should try this too.
(5)Victoria M.
Being of Vietnamese decent, I am excited to see more exposure of this cuisine in South Florida. I stopped in to order the banh mi sandwiches to go. I ordered all 3 of the banh mi sandwiches: grilled chicken, grilled beef and the grilled ham. The sandwich is of a substantial size that is filling. The baguette was really good, with a slight crunch to the bread in every bite. The fillings for the sandwiches were flavorful and I was pleased to see the pickled daikon and carrots, cucumber, cilantro and jalapeño condiments that make up the traditional sandwich. Basilic adds their own twist to the meat in the sandwich which I enjoyed and found inventive. My favorite of the three offered is the grilled ham. All of the sandwiches have a distinct taste so I do suggest trying all 3 at some point. At about $7.50 a sandwich, its a pretty sweet lunch deal. I would love for them to offer banh mi with thit nuong (grilled pork) or Vietnamese cold cuts with pate and mayo in the future....which is more authentic and typically offered in a more densely Vietnamese community. I also ordered their Taro bubble tea which was really delicious and hit the spot with the tapioca pearls. Basilic is a great new restaurant and the service was impeccable. I look forward to trying out the rest of the menu and plan on coming back soon.
(4)Cergio A.
Food and service were excellent. Server went above and beyond to accommodate my two and 4 yr old to make them feel an us comfortable. Appetizers and entrees came out in lightening speed and was delicious. I had the lemongrass chicken which was mildly spicy, yum. The combination platter .. Yum. Portions were a good size where did not have room for desert. Will be back again.

My wife and I were very happy to see this place open in Boca. In the past we have been fans of the Ft. Lauderdale location and are happy to see this one open up closer to home. For anyone trying Vietnamese food for the first time, I would say this is probably the place to check out. They might not be the most authentic of places but they do have all of my favorite dishes. The ambiance of this place is much better than most of the other Vietnamese places I have been too. I would say the biggest problem with the place is the parking (along with the rest of the restaurants in downtown boca).
(4)Robert M.
What a great new addition to boca. I went for some Pho Bo take out to give the place a try and was shocked when I walked in. It is very upscale and they did a tremendous job with the buildout. I was praying that the food would taste as good as the restaurant looked and it did. Delicious broth. Fresh herbs and aromatics and buttery soft thin slices of steak. Highly recommend.
(5)Eugenia R.
loved the Beef pho ! very clean place the menu is extensive and fairly priced. The salmon rolls were freshly made and flavorful.
(5)Ross M.
I've had the Combination Pho and the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, both were amazing. The place is small and can get crowded at dinner time. I would probably give them 5 stars if they had cloth napkins. The food was spicy enough that I went through two napkins wiping the sweat from my forehead, delicious!
(4)Suzanne Y.
Very nice Vietnamese restaurant in boca. Per other yelpers this is a second place the owner has opened up so he's doing something right! First off the place is very clean, with very friendly staffs. We ordered fresh beef rolls and beef pho, both were really delicious. They also offer bubble tea as well. I personally think the place is worth to try. Price is a bit higher than other Vietnamese restaurants I have been to, but then this place is in Mizner so rent is probably much higher.
(4)Barbara H.
Our server, Elaine, was attentive but not intrusive. She really made us feel like she wanted us to enjoy our mesl. Dishes were made to order with consideration for vegetarians. I LOVE this place.
(5)Chari L.
Awesome new Vietnamese spot in Boca. My dad is obsessed with their lemongrass duck. My guy got the duck and felt it was a bit boney but still really enjoyed it. I got the grilled chicken pho and added any vegetable they'd give me and it was super good. It would be great to have a vegetable pho option but I was still really happy with what I got. We will surely be back.
(4)Nairy D.
Had the beef stew soup and my fiancé had the beef combo pho . They were both very delicious and great portion size. Loved it, will go back again!!!!!!
(5)narisa s.
Outstanding food and service. The inside is newly decorated. The staff is friendly and take out is very quick. The lemongrass chicken and shaking beef is so tasty.
(5)Jessica P.
Everything I've had here is amazing! The prices are great too!
(5)Jasmin C.
This place is delicious, the decor is pretty and looks very neat and clean. The fried egg rolls and the salmon summer rolls is a must try. I LOVE their pork sandwiches. So far everything I had have been great. Whenever we are in the Boca area , we would come here. Also my kids love the bubble tea. Fav is the coconut bubble tea.
(5)Lisa M.
It's good but I liked cay da in Boca better. I had the pho which was kind of plain & skimpy in the meat & add ins.
(3)Deb S.
Cool little place. Authentic food. TV ' S at the bar to watch the games. Great wine list. Service was great on this visit.
(5)Natasha K.
Took my husband for his first experience with Vietnamese food and he loved it. Coming from San Francisco myself and having grown up eating Vietnamese food, I am very pleased with the food, ambiance and service.
(5)Fred S.
We have been driving to the Lauderhill location from Boca regularly so this was a great benefit for us! Beautifully redecorated inside, modern and clean looking and a very nice change from the old Kin Noodle Shop that used to reside here. The good news is the food! Great authentic Pho, Lemongrass chicken, Papaya salad, and the entire delicious food and menu From their parent location. We truly enjoyed the entire experience of our first meal here and are sure to become regulars !
(5)Nancy R.
Was given 2 gift cards to Basilic. Tried using them in October at Ft Lauderdale. Was told the machine wasn't working. Tried using them in November was told Ft Lauderdale cards not accepted in Boca. Phoned restaurant & was told gift cards good at either location (not for me). Owner & Manager called me to fix the problem. They refunded the gift card amounts AND gave me a paper gift certificate for $50. Thank you
(5)Joseph M.
Still the best service and food I have had in a long while. Will keep going back weekly.
(5)Max Z.
Superb Pho! T
(5)Llewellyn F.
There are 2 parts of this review. Food: 3 stars - It's ok pho, but you're in Boca and this is as good as it gets here. Service: 1 star - The staff has been rude a couple of times here. There last time actually made my stay and meal unpleasant. So this will be the last time I visit.
(2)Phuong N.
Small nice and clean restaurant. Seem does not have private parking but having a very good combination of Pho!!!
(4)Molly D.
Great food and awesome staff. We order a lot at work from here and the orders are always correct and ready in no time!
(5)D T.
The decor is clean. The waitress was nice. My daughter got the duck that looked so gross and had millions of tiny bones we should have sent it back. The waitress did warn her about bones. My son got the chicken noodle pan and he did not like it. My husband didn't either. I liked my shaking beef but it was just ok. Nothing as delicate and tasty and fresh as La Tre on Palmetto makes. None of us will rush back. I do like Vietnamese food for its lightness and freshness but this place is heavy, overly sweet and salty and just not tasty. Disappointing as I really wanted to like it.
(2)Dominika B.
Delicious as always!!! This was my first time in this location and I absolutely love it!! Great job guys!!! Chicken Pho all day long.. :)
(5)Joao D.
We only tried the Pho , so can't say if the other menu items are better. I had the meatball Pho....meat? Strange texture and they were cut in half, i guess to make it look like a lot. Bean sprouts were old. Have had much better, unfortunately the place is in VA.
(2)Lee H.
I've been to both locations and was super excited to hear that they had a Boca location now. Pretty much everything is great. The pho is off the hook and the firecracker shrimp are ridiculously good, fried to perfection, not greasy, just delicious. Bottom line best Vietnamese food east of the 95.
(5)Erik C.
New Vietnamese restaurant in Boca. My wife is Vietnamese, so we are always on the hunt for good Vietnamese restaurants and this place is really great. Had the Lemongrass Chicken and wife had the Combination Pho, both very good and full of flavor. The Bubble Tea is delicious, we all tried the Tera, Mango and Coconut Bubble Tea. The Fresh Salmon roll was also pretty good. Will definitely come here again.
(5)Alex V.
Got the beef pho. so good! i will definitely be back! authentic and delicious.
(5)Keri W.
Really would like to give zero stars since I didn't have an opportunity to try this restaurant. Based on the way we were treated, I'm not sure I'll come back at all. I have heard great things about this place, and have wanted to try it for some time. So last night at 9:30pm (Saturday night), my two friends and I attempted to enter the restaurant. We were met at the door by the owner, who apologized but told us that they had closed early due to the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight. He claimed that all the businesses in the area had closed also. We offered to dine quickly as we, too, were going somewhere to watch the fight (which didn't start til close to midnight). He didn't budge. So we left grudgingly. Then the owner joined his pals who were sitting in chairs on the sidewalk 'preparing' for the big fight. I guess I'm a little miffed...can business be so great that they can afford to turn away business? I guess so.
(1)D D.
Have been once since a friend recommended it. It was fine.
(3)David C C.
Great tasting food, good prices but awful service, I should have known when I saw the sign at the door saying "hiring". It took a while for them to sit us, the server wasn't nice. Food was great, they have a nice back sitting area. I wish they would find good servers because the place and the food is great.
(2)Seif E.
Stopped in for lunch today. Had the pho with steak. The chicken was better in my opinion. Overlooked fatty meat this time.
(3)Aaron B.
This is very good Vietnamese food. Fresh, authentic food. Excellent location. Great decor and atmosphere. EXTREMELY good service. My wife and daughter both had Pho -- beef and chicken, respectively. Both were very good. I had the Vietnamese grilled pork chops with a carrot slaw and rice. It was excellent. I was also very impressed that they had a fermented shrimp paste condiment on the table to add to white rice, soups, etc. This is an authentic Southeast Asian condiment, but you do not see it at a lot of Thai or Vietnamese restaurants. It's got some kick, and can be an acquired taste. But I have wanted to try this for a long time. It was great!
(4)M D.
Pretty darn good beef Pho they serve here. Authentic, nice broth, good cuts of meat. The Vietnamese spring rolls here are pretty great too! Love the shrimp crackers they serve, addictive, the chilli sauce has got a fresh lemongrass tang to it. Very nice indeed. Great location and decor. Friendly staff. Great first impression for me, I will be back to try more dishes!
(5)Evan S.
Ate here one night and the server was horrible, they should of hire more friendly girls staff then 16 yrs old boy that doesnt even know what he's doing knows nothing about hospitallity and know your menu before working at this place, food was just ok and doesnt look authentic at all just some american style vietnamese food and a lil bit pricey too..wont be eating there anytime soon!
(1)Tom K.
Been anxious to try this place for a while now, happy that we did because Basilic just earned a spot in my biweekly dinner rotation. They did a great job of renovating this space and its a vast improvement over the business that was here previously. I am a HUUGGGE fan of soups so naturally I went with the Beef Pho, it was amazing. It comes in a giant bowl with a bevy of traditional pho ingredients on the side. They serve you a snack at the table (i believe they callled them shrimp crisps) which were also delicious. The staff was very attentive, the overall atmosphere was pretty cool but most importantly the food was great, can't wait to go back.
(5)Jarrett B.
Basilic is excellent. Delicious authentic pho in an upscale atmosphere. This restaurant has great music and a great vibe unlike most dingy Vietnamese restaurants. I highly recommend it!
(5)Khanie S.
Interior is nice, very modern. Mood is very classy yet casual. I was a bit skeptical when I didnt see a vietnamese employee at all. Only met the owner who was vietnamese. So to walk in and to not see atleast 1 vietnamese server kinda made me feel uneasy. Anyways.. Food wise, I was slightly disappointed. Being Vietnamese myself I wouldn't really call it authentic. Its very americanized taste. And I was told the chef waa vietnamese. I had Bun Bo Hue (Hue Spicy Noodles) which was bland and salty. I didn't taste any kick to the broth. May I also add I hated the fact they use metal chopsticks especially for the noodles, it just slips and its very hard to twirl it. Usually when I eat Bun Bo Hue and my noodle slips into my broth where it causes the broth to bounce into my eye, I'm a klutz, usually it burns but when it happened here, not even a wince. My boyfriend ordered pork chops, ok before I start with the pork chops. What Vietnamese restaurant not have Com Dac Biet??? Anyways, we ordered him the porkchops, which was tender which was good. But the sauce they brought tasted so weird.... And the plate was very plain. At least extra vegetables. We also has the Rocket Shrimp, which was ok, I'm just not an onion person... Overall my experience was OK. Will not come back though.
(2)Debra G.
My husband and I have both been to Vietnam. What I loved about Vietnamese food is its freshness. I ordered the Bun Tom Nuang (shrimp with rice noodles, in short) for lunch. It was terrific. Not sure how they seasoned the shrimp, but it was really good. They prepared a fish sauce for me without chili pepper as well. My husband had a spicy beef dish which he said was good enough to make him want to come back again. The service was excellent and the restaurant was bright and pleasing. The only downside was the loud music over the speakers. But we could have asked for it to be turned down and did not. I look forward to another meal here.
(4)Tia W.
The food here is basic vietnamese, great pho, great pricing, the parking is a little difficult to find but other than that the place is great with a modern feel and great customer service. The food I ordered came back was fast and quick and instead of bread handed out for snacks they handed out shrimp chips which was delicious and the presentation of the food was well decorated and fantastic.
(5)Rich S.
The chicken pho was delicious and on point. The papaya salad was delicious and if it was this good takeout then I'm sure even better in house. Hope to eat here again. By the way after having the chicken pho we were totally stuffed!
(5)Ashley P.
I was very upset when I learned that Kin Noodle Bar had closed. No other restaurant that I have been to in South Florida makes a Tom Yum soup as good as theirs was. I decided to give them a chance since I do like Vietnamese food and the only other place I know of near Delray is not delicious. The first time I went, I brought along some not so adventurous coworkers (and I hardly think eating Vietnamese is adventurous) and they both ordered pork fried rice, which I am sure it wasn't bad but fried rice is fried rice and there are so many other delicious sounding options on the menu. I ordered the beef pho and it was delicious. They include fresh basil, jalapeños and different sauces on the side so you can customize it to your liking. It was a large enough portion to leave you completely full and still have a little left over for a late afternoon snack. On my second visit I tried the grilled chicken pho and it was just as good. The service is a little slow, which I don't mind since I hate being rushed, but it doesn't make it ideal when you have a limited lunch hour, so I can't come with my hourly coworkers. I look forward to many more lunch breaks here.
(4)Fish H.
Portions are generous, service was great, and the food tasted amazing. All in all it was a great dining experience. If you like pho this is your place.
(5)Muney C.
Thank you so much for the shrimp crispy. .. today my wife & I came in because we missed this plate so much. We ate all of them... then had to take home the noodles... we come here almost everyweek.... everything is fantastic
(5)Vibe Manager O.
Excellent food! We did takeout on Friday night and it was packed inside the restaurant. We had different appetizer rolls, a few pastas and a pho bowl. All tasted great and glad we didn't have to wait 30 minutes for a table. We will certainly go again.
(5)Nina S.
Delcious shrimp crackers, papaya salad and beef and green beans. Place is beautiful inside and the service was great! They're not open for lunch.
(4)Jenny G.
Delicious! Had the grilled Chow Pho. Everyone else I dined with really liked there dishes too. Will definitely go back. Okay to go with group and have separate checks.
(5)Marc S.
I'm very glad there's a good vietnamese restaurant in the area, the other ones in Boca are terrible. I just had the grilled ham spring roll appetizer, they were absolutely delicious! They make a homemade roasted chili and lemongrass sauce that is soooo flavorful and amazing. I haven't dried the bun or pho dishes but I'm sure they are very good as well. The owner is vietnamese
(5)Regina M.
Just moved in to town yesterday and instead of trying out a new restaurant we decided to come back here for the second day in a row. So good and so glad it's in the neighborhood.
(5)Trami N.
As you first walk in you see bright open space. The decor is very nice, and the little details are wonderful. I had Bun Bo Hue while my friend had a wonton soup. When we placed our order, they came back with shrimp chips. This is a nice touch because I know of only one other Vietnamese restaurant that does this in south Florida. Let me explain, I love these chips and I even tried to make my own at home. (utter failure) I used to drive all the way down to Ft Lauderdale for these chips. Okay back to the food, then it came my dish's presentation was beautiful, neither of us wanted to eat it because it was so pretty. My dish actually was different from what I am used to however it had nice flavors. They put these shrimp cakes which I never had, but it was still good. Overall this place is great for a Vietnamese restaurant in Boca Raton. I have tried 3 other Vietnamese places in Boca and was disappointed every time. This however was an exception. I would most likely come back again.
(4)Paul O.
Sorry wrong place.
(5)Ninad N.
This restaurant is new. Nice location and good ambiance. We went there for lunch, first of all they don't have a lunch menu as such apart from couple of sandwiches. So the prices are on a higher side for lunch. I ordered lemongrass chicken, I would say I had better tasting lemongrass chicken at other places. I would say this is an okay kinda place to have dinner, not for lunch though.
(2)dahlia d.
Awesome! Lemongrass chicken was so tasty! So worth going to again. Pho was tasty. Great place. A new favorite!
(5)Mary E.
First time here. Got a coupon from a magazine and decided to give it a try since there are no vietnamese places around the area so I hope this place will be good. I loved the ambience as soon as I walked in. It was really pretty. No one seats you so you just find a table and sit. The menu was simple with lots to offer. I had a beef pho and my mom got the grilled pork. I also ordered the fresh spring roll and basilic mussels. Everything was great. The broth in the pho was very good and can beat some of the ones down in Ft. Lauderdale where I have to go just to eat pho. The mussels were ok but not like omg i have to order another one type dish. It is cooked with ginger scallions onions and basil. I could taste the onions and ginger but no basil flavor. Spring roll the same everywhere but here they used like grilled pork instead of bland pork. The grilled pork dish had heavy lemongrass flavor and was really good. Portions are good for the price and area. Will come back...too bad they close so earlier than regular restaurants tho..only tried a few dishes this time but hopefully can try more and give them 5 stars!
(4)Liana P.
Well priced, and good pho. The meatballs were more like sausage though- very fatty. In the future I would get the beef or chicken. Service was a little slow at first but picked up once we ordered.
(4)ben p.
Very nice good job Vince.
(5)Mercy C.
My husband and I went there for lunch this week. The food was outstanding and the restaurant is beautiful inside. We started out with the green mussels appetizer, which came with a wonderful sauce and fresh basil and veggies in the sauce that were perfectly cooked. We decided to hang onto the sauce for the rest of the mail because it was so good. For our main entrée he had the chicken pho (rice noodles) and I had the Vietnamese chicken salad. The chicken on both was similar but since I try to maintain a Paleo diet I went with the salad version. Both were delicious. The salad version is on a bed of predominately very thin sliced cabbage which was delicious with the dressing. They also have a couple of homemade hot sauces at each table to choose from. One is medium and the other one is hot. Both were very good and a nice addition to any part of the meal. We will definitely visit here again.
(5)Deana C.
the chicken pho soup is amazing!!
(5)Kevin S.
Amazing again!! Try the Lemongrass spicy rice noodles(gluten free). Very aromatic and refreshing. The grilled chicken Pho is fantastic as well!!!! You won't be disappointed.
(5)Jeff S.
Excellent food and good service. It's nice to have a place in town with good Vietnamese food. I look forward to eating there again.
(5)Jane M.
Wonderful meal and ambiance. Was sad that Kin Noodle Bar had closed but the Seafood Curry and Coconut soup was excellent. We also had the fried rice which was very good. A duck dish was very boney and I can't recommend. Overall it was a great meal.
